シーリィの1987年の論文 "Modeling computations: a 2-categorical framework" (http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/qg-winter2007/seely_2-categorical.pdf)を印刷してみた。
[追記]http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/atmcs2008/にある"Computation and the Periodic Table"(http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/atmcs2008/atmcs2008.pdf)も眺めた。なんか、バエズとアブラムスキーが言っていることがソックリなんで笑える。いや、笑っているハナシではなくて、彼らが見ている景色が同じ(少なくとも似てる)ということだ。そして、バエズとアブラムスキーが共通に見ている景色が世界の姿なのかもしれない。それが真実の姿かどうかは別にどうでもよくて、僕にとって面白いかどうか -- すごく面白い。面白ければいいのだ、面白くっても大丈夫。[/追記]
